The right chair finds the right tech.
Salons post the skills they need — dip, acrylic, Gel-X, pedicures, front desk. Techs list what they do and how far they'll drive. When skills, distance, schedule and pay line up, both sides get one text. Names stay private until you both say yes.
Two sides. One match. Five minutes.
Salon owners
Nail techs & beauty pros
Not "nail tech." Dip, Gel-X, pink & white.
Owners pick the exact services they need covered. Techs pick what they actually do, with a level. The match score comes from the overlap — not from keywords in a résumé.
Private until it's mutual
Owners see "Tech · Hudson NH · 6 yrs · Dip, Acrylic, Gel-X." Not your name, not your photo, not your phone — until you both tap yes.
Your boss never sees it
Verified techs are automatically hidden from their current salon. You can block any other salon by name, too.
One text, not a hundred
At most one "new matches" text per day. Interest, matches and messages come through right away. Reply STOP anytime.
Straight answers
Can my current salon see that I'm looking?
No. If your phone number matches a salon's staff record, that salon is blocked from your profile automatically — and owners never see names, photos or phone numbers until there's mutual interest. You can block additional salons by name.
What does it cost?
Nothing for techs, ever. Salons can post and review matches free. If we add paid options later they'll be for salons only, and posting your position will stay free.
I already book my nails through GuavaTex. Do I need a new account?
No — same email and password. If you're a salon owner on GuavaTex, your business login works here too and your salon is already set up.
What's the "Verified tech" badge?
Your mobile number matches a staff record at a salon that runs on GuavaTex, confirmed by the code we text you. Owners trust it because it means a real salon has you on its schedule.
Does this work for hair, barbers, lashes?
Yes. The skill list covers nails, hair & barber, lash & brow, skin and front desk. We started with nail salons in New England and grow by region.
How is the match score calculated?
Skill overlap (required skills are a must), distance from your home to the salon, schedule, pay range, language and experience. You see the reasons on every card — "Has 5 of 6 skills · 8 mi away · Pay fits."
